Andrei Covatariu (Director)

Andrei is the Founder and Director of

He is a Senior Research Associate and the Summer School Director at Energy Policy Group (EPG –, where he is involved in numerous projects and studies in Romania and abroad.

He is also the Head of Institutional Affairs at Enel Romania. Previously, he held several positions inside the company, such as Regulatory Affairs Manager, Digital Manager, Executive Assistant to the CEO & Country Manager, and Market Analyst.

Andrei is a Member of the Board of the FEL-100 community, inside the Studies Committee. FEL-100 is the community that gathers the most promising 100 young professionals in the energy sector worldwide, a programme designed and coordinated by the World Energy Council, in London.

Having extensive studies in both engineering and economy, Andrei’s interests revolve around the energy strategies, energy transition, energy poverty and geopolitics of energy.


Ines Fenjiro (Partnerships Manager)

Ines Fenjiro Alami grew up between Morocco and Spain and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in International Relations at Queen Mary, University of London, after a year spent studying at The University of California, Berkeley.

Ines has built her professional experience in various fields, from advocacy, foreign policy research, to the geopolitics of energy and has a truly international background after having lived in five different countries.

After six months at the World Energy Council supporting the Networks & Communities team with Member Services, Corporate Partnerships and the Future Energy Leaders Programme (FEL-100), Ines has now joined British Water where she focuses on expanding the International outreach of the British water sector. Ines has a strong interest for natural resources management, hydropolitics, as well as water and wastewater issues.


Patricia Vasile (Senior Analyst)

Patricia Vasile is a Senior Manager with EY, working in Assurance and Advisory Business Services. She has a professional experience of more than 10 years of auditing large companies from the Energy Sector (Power & Utilities, Oil & Gas).

She is currently a PhD Candidate focused on European Energy Security Strategy and Blockchain activity in the Energy Sector, with the Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest.
